BREAKING: Court orders FG to return Nnamdi Kanu to Kenya

A federal high court in Umuahia, Abia state, has ordered the federal government to return Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to Kenya.

Kanu was extradited from the East African country to Nigeria in June 2021.
The court also ordered the government to pay Kanu N500 million as damages for his illegal abduction and violation of his fundamental human rights.

This came as a result of the rounds of arguments as regards to whether he will be able to continue with the presidential race due to his health challenges. People questioned his absence in important meetings such as the signing of the peace accord.  However, in response to people's opinions he declared that he is not sick but hale and hearty. Ekweremadu’s Daughter In Court On Human Trafficking Charges   Sonia, the daughter of federal lawmaker, Ike Ekweremadu, on Monday appeared in court accused of trafficking a homeless man into the United Kingdom to harvest his organs for herself.   According to Daily Mail, the younger Ekweremadu, was accused alongside her father Ike Ekweremadu, 60, her mother Beatrice Ekweremadu, 56, and 50-year-old doctor Obinna Obeta of conspiracy to arrange the travel of another person with a view to exploitation.   It was reported that  Ms Ekweremadu has not entered a plea but a trial date has been set for January.    Sonia has a kidney-related disease and has been on dialysis for some time.   Photo credit: UK Daily Mail
