Tinubu addresses concerns about his health

Bola Ahmed Tinubu the former governor of Lagos state, Nigeria, a backbone of APC and the APC Presidential candidate addressed the public concerning his health. This came as a result of the rounds of arguments as regards to whether he will be able to continue with the presidential race due to his health challenges. People questioned his absence in important meetings such as the signing of the peace accord. 
However, in response to people's opinions he declared that he is not sick but hale and hearty.

According to him, the opposition kept insisting and making the public think that he is sick.

He said: “I’m neither running for a 100-yard or 500-yard race nor am I competing in WWE wrestling. I’m running for the presidency which is a knowledge-driven job.

CBN to redesign bank notes

CBN to change bank notes Shared by Marcelinus Golu Isaiah Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Wednesday said it will redesign the N200, N500, and N1,000 notes.  CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, disclosed this during a special press briefing in Abuja. He said the bank had obtained approval from President Mohammadu Buhari to redesign N200, N500, N1000 notes, adding that the new notes will come into effect by December 15. Emefiele said: “Bank charges for cash deposit are suspended with immediate effect.” He further disclosed that over 80 per cent of the total cash in circulation was outside the banking system. “N2.73 trillion out of N3.23 trn exists outside the commercial bank,” he added. He said the decision would impact the value of the naira.
