Breaking News: A one time serving Chief of Staff to the  Plateau State House of Assembly is dead

The sad news hit the community hardly that Baba Izang Azi Abok popularly known as Big man died on Tuesday, October 26, 2022 after a protracted illness.


Furaka district, the Izere nation and Plateau State at large is mourning the loss of a great asset. Records show that he impacted the Furaka community, Izere nation and Plateau State immensely as he served as one of the essential stakeholders. In service to the nation he served in many capacities which ensued to a lot of landmark achievements.

It was disclosed that she left her daughter's house in Bukuru, Jos South LGA at about 8.00 am in the morning to an unknown location. CBN to redesign bank notes

CBN to change bank notes Shared by Marcelinus Golu Isaiah Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Wednesday said it will redesign the N200, N500, and N1,000 notes.  CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, disclosed this during a special press briefing in Abuja. He said the bank had obtained approval from President Mohammadu Buhari to redesign N200, N500, N1000 notes, adding that the new notes will come into effect by December 15. Emefiele said: “Bank charges for cash deposit are suspended with immediate effect.” He further disclosed that over 80 per cent of the total cash in circulation was outside the banking system. “N2.73 trillion out of N3.23 trn exists outside the commercial bank,” he added. He said the decision would impact the value of the naira.
